Embracing Self-Love

February is usually associated with ‘love’ so I wanted to share something about this topic, especially something that will help you strengthen your self-love.

Love is the highest vibration and represents the essence that lives within us in its purest form.

You were born out of love—the unconditional love that is your source and your soul—and you will return to that love at the end of your life’s journey.

When you surrender to the power of love, it will save you, rescue you, heal you, resurrect you from your misfortunes, guide you, fill you, empower you, and most importantly, show God within you.

In my book Freedom of the Soul I talk about LOVE as one of our inner powers. I define love as ‘the being’ because it’s our natural state of being.

Embrace this power; practice ‘being love’

Your heart radiates love, which is the most powerful energy in the whole universe.

Love softens, lightens, sweetens, magnifies, straightens, strengthens, unites, and completes everything it touches. This is the reason feeling love is so wonderful: it enhances all aspects of your life.

Intend to direct some of that energy to loving yourself. If this idea seems hard, just remember that simply being willing to practice self-love is all you need to getting started. Know that you are love and that you can love yourself without needing the approval or acceptance of anyone besides yourself.

Embrace self-love by reciting out loud or silently the beautiful words written by our beloved Louise Hay.

“In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete. I live in harmony and balance with everyone I know. Deep at the center of my being, there is an infinite well of love. I now allow this love to flow to the surface. It fills my heart, my body, my mind, my consciousness, my very being, and radiates out from me in all directions and returns to me multiplied. The more love I use and give, the more I have to give. The supply is endless. The use of love makes me feel good; it is an expression of my inner joy. I love myself.”

Once you have finished, remain in stillness for as long as you desire to let the love settle in. Make this practice part of your daily spiritual ritual and you will witness miracles in your life.

With love.
